By combining Christian principles with evidence-informed approaches, we provide structured support systems that empower individuals to overcome challenges, rediscover purpose, and live productive, balanced lives.

Our Leadership (Founder/CEO)

Dpatrice (silent ‘D’, pronounced Pat’rees) Tomlin-Dereef is a native of Washington, D.C. Patrice is a published author and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, and facilitative education. Her academic journey began in 1988, when she earned two undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Psychology, with a concentration in Social Psychology. She is an ordained minister, holds a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Community Care, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Patrice has served in multiple roles within higher education, including Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor. Over the past two decades, she has also held licenses in several lines of insurance and earned certifications in life, health, and wellness coaching. Her professional affiliations include the National Association of Christian Ministers; the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), where she is a Professional Certified Christian Coach; Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), the International Honor Society in Education; the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS); and the Complementary Therapists Accredited Association (CTAA). These affiliations have further strengthened her expertise in life coaching and pastoral counseling.

Known for her empathy, active listening, discretion, and cultural awareness, Patrice is deeply committed to meeting individuals where they are in their life journeys. She works collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies and actionable steps that support goal attainment and meaningful lifestyle improvements.

As a breast cancer survivor, Patrice brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to her work. During her treatment, she conducted extensive research, built strong networks with fellow cancer survivors and medical professionals who supported her through the challenges of chemotherapy and its long-term effects. Through resilience and intentional lifestyle adjustments, she has learned to manage lasting physical and mental impacts while empowering others who are navigating cancer or living with the effects of cancer-related treatments.

Patrice’s faith, strong moral foundation, inner strength, and creativity fuel her passion for helping others overcome limitations and obstacles that hinder personal growth. Grounded in the teachings of the Gospel, she is committed to sharing the truth and love of Christ with individuals from all walks of life, in accordance with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20).
